Copenhagen 19/1 2020. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Not surprisingly a drawing of a fully rigged sailship with red sails on the label.
Pours unclear amber with a medium-sized offwhite head. Fairly stable. Settles as thin but frothy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium-intense and of malty sweetness and a more tart odor of hops. Sweet caramel, cardboard. Sharper odor of citrus and lime. Pine.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor has a fairly strong sweetness balanced by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a while.
Sweetish, fairly strong and with a decent bitter bite.

Red IPA, tropical citrus taste with notes of grapefruit. IBU 70, but feels more especially in the beginning. Red Machine IPA from this brewery is a better choice IMHO

Aggressively poured into english pint
Pours hazy orange beer with nice beige rocky head, good retention. Smell is not a bomb, citrusy, resiny, strawberry jam, slightly malty.
Taste - sweet malts, harsh (at first, than not so prevailing) bitterness. Good and refreshing IPA.
