Copenhagen 25/2 2020. 33 cl bottle from Many, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Drawing of drawing old Soviet airplane from the the great war getting drawn.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a small. light beige head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is rich, sweet and with a lightly peaty touch. Brown sugar and chocolate. Smoke and light roast. Salty whiff of sea water.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed b a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is surprisingly bitter. Finish is smoky and boozy. Like a den of debauchery.
A Imperial Stout quite on the bitter and smoky side. Not for everyone.

Bought this in Santa Fe, NM on a recent visit.
Poured from a bottle into a tulip glass. Rich dark brown color with a thin beige head and good lacing. Strong dark chocolate smell and taste. Burnt wood, dart pumpernickel toast . Strong bitter finish. Provocative beer.

Jet black body with a thick and frothy head; sheets and globs of foam clinging to the glass. Huge roasted grain and boozy aroma. The taste has grain char, coffee, and cocoa components; sweet with a boozy edge. Heavy body; soft and pillowy; sweet but not too much so; definite alcohol heat and dryness.
An all-around potent and tasty Russian imperial stout. It is, perhaps, a bit strong in the ABV department, but, really, it's an imperial stout! The fact that it's made in Russia just seems appropriate...
