Copenhagen 23/3 2020. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Sketchy drawing of soccer player ready to kick the ball on the label.
Pours dirty, muddy yellow with a medium-sized white head. Fairly stable. Settles as 1,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with sweet exotic fruit and strong citric notes. Peach and pineapple. Lemon and grape fruit.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, smooth, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness and a strong, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is citric and bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is sour and dry.
A bit of a stretch to call a 5,1 ABV a session. But overall a solid Indian Pale Ale.
