The beers lack differentiating flavor between the styles. Water seems to be the main flavor. None of them are bad though or have of putting flavor. Worth trying for yourself. The place itself is really nice. Cool little place to hang out. You'll feel like you're lost the first time trying to find it, but GPS is accurate. Plenty of styles to choose from. Had some games to play and can make a game night out of it. I'll visit again.

Microbrewery - almost no beer is sold off site! And the beer is top notch. Small tasting room with cool music (E.g. Violent Femmes) and friendly staff and locals. Filled my 32oz Florida growler for $6. This is a must visit brewery when in south east Colorado. Get the coffee porter - outstanding.

Admittedly, I've only been once, but I do plan to go back. Dodgeton Creek is a fairly small taproom with limited seating and is located on the north side of Trinidad, Co, in what is basically an industrial park. At the time of our visit, they only had ales on tap, though as I understand, the lagers are forthcoming. The coffee porter was delicious and I ended up taking a growler home with me. The Scottish Ale was nice, as well, and my wife really enjoyed the brown ale she had. The atmosphere on our visit was quiet with music playing low - it was great to be able to enjoy a few beers and be talk with the friends with whom we had gone without having to shout over the music. The place is mostly a taproom, so don't go expecting food (I have heard that it is within a pizza delivery zone).
