Just had this one last night (but I took notes immediately). I can’t believe I am the first one to rate this beer – there are a LOT of Claim Jumper Restaurants out there. Don’t they carry this one in other states? Anyway, the appearance is a lovely very pale gold-yellow. The head has a little foam with good long lasting lacing. Aroma is minimal. Initial taste: sweet, lightly hopped. Mouthfeel: gently carbonated. Taste is honey sweet. Finish: dry. That is on the first sip. Then you sip again. And you notice an underlying taste: like bubblegum when the flavor is all gone. This results in a beer that is good for one glass only. This is not a ‘pitcher beer.’ Few would want more than one.
