Whoever said that crisp and clean has to mean bland and simplistic? The Rooster Brewers extend their hands to Belgium when brewing a beer that's highly refreshing and thirst quenching but using the fruit and spice of Belgian ale for complex and smart taste.
Quiche My Ass pours pale gold and builds a tight lather on top. Juicy pilsner flavors and aromas are laced with light cracker and dough. Underlying sweetness of powdered sugar wraps around raw grain, orchard fruit and white wine.
As the ale bounces off the tongue, its confident bubbly character highlights the mild spice of clove and white pepper while its fruit-forward balance teases the tastebuds with apple cider, pear and under-ripened orange.
Its dry and crisp finish is medium-light, thwarting aside the bulk of sweetness and giving the ale a peppery and carbonic bite as it closes. Its delicate taste is tamely bitter, herbal and playfully grassy in aftertaste.
