The Camarque in the South of France is the only region in Europe, where rice is commercially grown. A series of beers was made using different rice types from the region. This is using white rice
Pours an almost clear golden body with a white fledgling head. Plenty of medium sized bubbles rise to the top.
Aroma is faint noble hops and some pale malt and toasted malt.
Taste follows nose with hops and toasted malt, bitterness is low.
Body is rather thin (from using rice?) and carbonation is rather high.
Nothing special about this beer. It reminds me of a Euro Pale lager aside from the toast character and it is thinner. Not much taste to it. Cannot detect the rice properly. Will not drink it again, though it is not bad.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
