It's listed as a belgian strong dark ale, but it tastes more like a (very) robust Porter. Quite chocolaty, with some bitterness balancing it out. Not a lot of carbonation, making the body a bit light, for a 13% beer that is. The vanilla from the aging in oak is quite mild. Given the price, this is a no-brainer. Cheers
