On tap at brewery. Into a sample glass, a semi - light black with a slight brown trying to make a semi - colorful presence. Film of a small white head dissipated but didn’t allow any lacing. The smell, well, the coffee was there but super faint. The taste had the coffee but also a milk chocolate underneath. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was fairly subdued and came across in a smooth way on my tongue. Overall, I say this was an okay stout but to say it was a good "coffee" stout is probably reaching a bit.

On tap at the brewery and poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was black in color with a bar pour's kind of slim white small mushroom cap of a head. Light lacing does come about as this slim little head died.
The smell had some dry coffee bean with a light chocolate in the background.
The mouthfeel was dry and roasty coating my tongue adequately. This was fairly sessionable and probably sat at/about a light to medium on the body.
Overall, not a bad beer, sits just a bit above par. Probably could have another go at this beer if I happened to see it.
