The appearance was semi-black probably closer to brown with a quickly dieing head that barely left any lacing. The smell had a nice combination of chocolate, roasted nuts and a light vanilla. The taste was basically the same with a slight boozy note (probably the bourbon), but honestly even that was hard to pull as it seemed more or less just boozy and not necessarily bourbon. On the palate, this about a medium on the body with more of a sipper aspect to it. It left a smooth boozy aftertaste and a weird dry finish. Overall, okay beer, nothing to go out of my way, but nice to try.

Okay, this was poured into a sample glass, here's my take on this:
The appearance was a nice black color with a one finger white foamy head that strings itself along the glass.
The smell had a decent vanilla to sweet oaky to light cocoa combination strolling about the aroma.
The taste was exceptionally sweet with a weird oakiness trying to come about.
The mouthfeel sat about medium on the body with a fairly nice sessionable aspect about it. Slightly a sipper.
Overall, decent imperial stout I think I could come back to.
