On tap at Gingerman in NYC. From the menu: "We took a portion of our Nightshine Black Lager and aged it in oak bourbon barrels. Major bourbon aroma!"
Pours a dark brown color with one inch of tan head. Lots of dark and milk chocolate, roasted malts, vanilla, and cream. Light toasted and oaky notes. Mouthfeel is amazing; perfectly smooth and creamy...could drink a lot of this.
Overall I found no real bourbon to it but thought it was quite good...very tasty and the mouthfeel is perfect. Worth checking out but don't expect a ton of bourbon, and interested to try more from these guys.
