I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the brewery.
Appearance: dark orange hue with a finger of tan foam and a good lace left on the glass; an attractive beer.
Smell: lightly sweet with a nice, citrusy, fruity hop element. There's just a little candy in there; I dig it.
Taste: resiny, dank, earthy and just a little citrusy. A bit sweet for my taste, and while it only hints at the hop character in the nose, it's still pretty good.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess for the style.
Overall: a little bit brighter flavor to match the aroma would be nice, but in general it's a good IPA.
