I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the brewery.
Appearance: rich, dark brown hue with a finger of dark tan foam. I like it.
Smell: quite a big coffee aroma. It's not otherwise complex, but it's pretty enticing.
Taste: roasty with quite a bit of coffee character, although it's not overkill. Quite dry and rather bitter; not bad but it's a little rough around the edges.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a good carbonation and decent creaminess.
Overall: it's a tasty take on a coffee porter, but I feel like it could be a little smoother.
