Nice friendly staff and good food. They don't brew the typical variety of beers. Sure they have the obligatory IPA but they also had a couple more experiential varieites as well. The sahti had strong peach character in the nose. The Ye Olde Smokey (a light bodied smoked beer in a style that originated in Poland) was very different and interesting. Overall I would definitely make a return visit if I were close by again.

Been here several times since the opening. I tend to visit after work between Tuesday and Thursday and the number of patrons has been under 20 for each of my visits.

Vibe is nothing special. The bar seems to be the gathering point with room for maybe 15-20. There are a number of tables that can maybe sit another 50 or so.

Quality of the beers is OK. The brews seem to get a little better with each visit. On the first visit I had a double ipa that I believe had some sort of basil spice. It was just weird and not what I was expecting. Get the base beers down before twisting traditional recipes. The last visit I thought that 4 of the 5 brews were at least a 3.5 or better.

Service is definitely the best facet of the brewery. Barkeep staff is very friendly and chatty. Definitely knowledgeable about craft beer in general.

Selection is pretty limited - I believe there are 8 taps there. Perhaps a couple of guest taps would bring in more folks.

Food selection is pretty limited as well. Brats are good and the pretzel bread they use is tasty.

I hope these guys can make it but I worry about their long term longevity. They are the only brewery within 5 miles of my house so hopefully they get enough of a following in the NW Phoenix/Glendale beer wasteland and continue to improve their beer and food selection in order to survive the long term. Breweries are opening all over the greater Phoenix area...I suspect a shakeout will occur within the next 2-3 years with the better breweries surviving. Best of luck Dubina!

Nice space, friendly staff. Imperial IPA was excellent, 9.5% but so smooth you dont realize it, great hop flavors and nose, emphasis on citrusy but subtle, nice balance. give it a 4.7. I like about the same as Pliney the elder.
menu limited at this time, lots of grilled cheeze, pretzels.
stout and porter and candy ale rate poorly this time, maybe worse than Guiness: 2.0 at best. hope its better in the future.
try the Dubina [strong?] ale other patrons said it was very good. .
