Thanks, David! On tap at the source.
Black with a dark brown head, this looks solid. I was apprehensive based on the description of a Baltic Porter with blackberries, but this delivered. Clean , roasty Baltic Porter base with grainy bitterness, clean lager fermentation, and a brilliant and bright blackberry character, pulpy, fruity, mildly sweet and mildly acidic. The palate opens with fruity blackberry with a wonderful dark chocolate note with dusty cocoa, mild instant coffee and a clean lager yeast note. Medium in body and softly carbonated, this beer finishes mildly sweet and mildly fruity. Delightful.
