Served from tap in a tall bowtie stange at the tap room.
Moving on to some rotationals with the resident doppelbock. It pours a clear mahogany topped by a finger-and-a-half of dark cream foam. The nose comprises dry maple syrup, toffee, and light pumpernickel. The taste brings in more of the same, along with a twinge of toasted marshmallow and occasional bites of mild bitter-ish fruit. The body is a lithe medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a fairly smooth feel. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable d-bock, something I actually look forward to having again sometime in the near future.
