Poured from a can.
L: The color of an old dirty copper penny, small off white head that's gone in a flash, leaving a moderately laced glass.
S: Hops are at the forefront here.
T: Again, its hoppy, has some malt sweetness and a nice bitter finish.
F: Not quite chewy, but thicker than most 2xIPA's, not a lot of carbonation.
O: This is a great big beast of a beer. I love it!

Picked up a growler from the brewery here in Crystal Lake, have been waiting for a double IPA from these guys for a while, as Slalom king is a personal favorite of mine.
Look - Pours a lot darker than expected, very dark brown. Not a lot of head.
Smell - Smells floral, sweet
Taste - A lot of citrus flavor up front, hoppy, malty and sweet
feel - Feels pretty light overall. Not a lot of carbonation, but doesn't feel heavy.
Overall - Honestly, for a new, small brewery this is an amazing beer. If this werent a local brewery to me, I'd likely still buy this one fairly often. One of the better IIPAs from the chicago suburban area, good job CL brewery!
