Backflip is a traditional Belgian Wit (white) Bier. It's a beer that was created to celebrate the arrival of Spring and wet our whistles for a hot Summer. Given the name "Wit", this beer has a white veil of color around the edges of the glass. This is due to the use of unmalted wheat. The aroma is heavenly. Hints of coriander and orange permeate the air, while a subtle kiss of coconut and chamomile add to the complexity. A sip transforms you to a sunny oceanside beach. The taste of pina coladas and citrus shine brightly. The finish is smooth and tropical. What a great way to welcome in the warm weather!

Had on tap. Cloudy golden pour with a plump white head and lacing. Aromas of wheat, orange, lemon zest, gentle spice and coriander. Tastes much the same, more focused on the wheat and orange, a gourmet blue moon. Feel is bright yet medium bodied mostly because the wheat and spiced grains shape, no a big snap finish though. Enjoyable on a hot day for sure

From an undated can, pours a murky yellow with a lingering white head, nice lacing.
The aroma is dominated by the Belgian yeast. Flavor has a hint of coriander, Orange and the yeast. The spice and Orange peel balance well. Nice body and carbonation, I was pleasantly surprised by this, really a tasty, easy drinking beer.
