Somewhat clear brown body with a frothy beige head. Smell and taste are clones: earthy english yeast plays atop a toasty malt base, with hints of cocoa, new leather and tobacco. Taste leads with toast, tobacco, and malt, dry yeast with earth tones is next, finally a hint of orange peel on the end, but this is all pretty light except that first wave, to the point that as you go down the glass the yeast dries out the palate to make it pretty bland. Feel is dry, frothy, light, yet chewy and yeasty more than malty as it should be, but it thins out as it warms

Clear brown pour, small lightly tanned head, nicely laced glass. Snot machine get some chocolate and caramel in light doses. A bit thin, well carbonated.

Tasted in a pint glass from draft at the Vine on April 8, 2017. Smell and taste is spice with hints of caramel, chocolate, vanilla, orange and clove. Feel is smooth.
