Sampled in a taster glass from draft at Beerhead on February 4, 2020. We love collaboration brews here at CLB. Our friends at Beerhead asked if we would be interested in joining forces with them to create a deliciously hoppy Black IPA. Of course we would! Just like that Midnight Rambler was born. The goal was to make “The one you have never seen before.” Pine and citrus notes mingle with hints of coffee and chocolate in the nose. Sweet caramel is there as well. A sip reveals layers of roast characteristics, dark chocolate, and spice. The massive hop dose appears again bringing with it a very firm bitterness and darker hop flavors.
