This year’s variant blends our delicious rye barrel aged Imperial Stout (aged for two years) with maple syrup, cinnamon and a touch of vanilla to create a one of a kind drinking experience. Deep chocolate and dark fruit notes from the stout, along with the sweet woody essence from the rye barrels emulsify with the breakfast-like characteristics of the syrup, cinnamon and vanilla. This union creates a rich full bodied, complex beer that will be hard to hold on to, but will age well for several years if you have the patience.

Had on tap. Pitch black opaque body, tan ring. Aromas of cinnamon and vanilla atop bakers chocolate, rye and bourbon with oozing maple, and a hint of licorice in nose. Taste removes the licorice and adds a touch more wood from the barrel, still boozy and adjunct driven, getting supporting leather and molasses added, the chocolate note sings! Feel is boozy verging on hot, but stops before this point. Adjunct cinnamon and rye felts all the way after the booze, malts round out, thick and heavy. Underrated BA program continues to impress
