Hat Trick is a collaboration brew with our friends from Kishwaukee and Scorched Earth. Styled after a Belgian Table Beer, this beer is low alcohol, yet packed with complex Belgian yeast characteristics. The nose has a bit of cinnamon spice and dark fruit, along with a touch of sweet coffee cake notes. The finish is clean and somewhat dry leaving a pleasant spiciness on the palate.

Murky amber brown pour with a khaki colored head that quickly settles into a cap. Smells of the phenol laden belgian yeast with wild flower and gentle booze accents, meet the candi sugar led malts, raisin and cinnamon in the nose. Taste now starts with the malts, caramel/candi sugar tones and big plum with minor raisin, before the big belgian yeast with phenols, earthy spice (not cinnamon here), flowers, and a quick hint of bubble gum on the finish. Feel is light and shaped by the yeast with a very mild malt base underneath, phenols, dries out moderately from the wet start. This is a surprise how well they nailed this table beer, bravo!
