On-tap at Heinen's in Mayfield Village, Ohio
Pours golden with a subtle haze; fluffy white head that falls leaving nice retention and lacing. The aromas are subtle. Lots of fresh bread and cracker malts. Hints of caramel and citrus. The flavors are very clean, crisp and refreshing. Very earthy. Lots of fresh pine needles and grapefruit in the mix. Very sharp bitterness. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is nice. It's light with active carbonation. Very smooth and easy to drink.
This is a nice pale ale. It's a nice traditional example of the style. Perfect for the warm weather. Well crafted.
