This was an interesting beer. It poured a nice golden color with a decent head, had an odd grainy to earthy note to its smell, which did not come across in the taste as much.
If looking for the positive of the nose, I could maybe see a wooden note to the graininess. After tasting it and comparing back and forth, a less sweet flesh fruit (apple/pear) could also be an option. There is also a citrus note in the nose I realize a little more as I analyze and the beer breathes and warms :).
Taste follows the nose fairly well, but there is a certain sugarless ginger ale note to it. That flesh fruit impression I noted in the nose seems to be the base, with a little indistinct citrus note providing an accent. Bitterness is balanced against the fruit notes decently well.
I think this is more APA than IPA, and is an interesting beer regardless of style that I could see having one or two of at a cookout.

Cherimoya Project With Meyer Lemon brewed by Platform Beer Co. This American IPA pours out a nice golden amber color with a nice bubblie head. The head to this brew sticks around. Now this American Style IPA has an ABV of 6.80% The smell of Cherimoya Project With Meyer Lemon is rich with flavors. You first pick up on the hops, and citrus. Then you pick up on the grains and malts in the smell of this brew. The American IPA has the look and smell of most IPA's on the market, not saying that is a bad thing. Now for the taste, it is bold and crisp with flavors. There is a lot going in Cherimoya Project With Meyer Lemon. Hops and citrus, from the lemon are two big things you pick up on at first . At the end of the taste you pick up some mild grains and malts. There is nothing overpowering about Cherimoya Project With Meyer Lemon, it has a real nice IPA style balance to it. Good amount of hops, grains and malts. The citrus is a nice added bonus. It is real hard to pick up on the 6.80% AVB in this brew it is just that smooth. I really can't get over how smooth this brew goes down. The mouth feel of this American IPA is Rich, Bold, Clean, Smooth and Refreshing. There is a nice amount of lacing to this brew. Overall I'm giving Cherimoya Project With Meyer Lemon a 4.50 out of 5. I would definitely pick this brew up again. Platform Beer Co., Did a real nice job with this one. If you are into a hoppy citrus brew look this one up.

Cherimoya Project With Meyer Lemon | Platform Beer Co. Poured from the can into a pint glass, this brew's head is one finger thick, with lateral lacing, and a clear deep amber body.
Smells like bright, juicy citrus. And I'll certainly have to side with @rudzud & say it has a slight creamy/vanilla thing going on that's reminiscent of some sort of lemon dessert.
If the scent didn't give it away, this is damn delicious! Citrus-y, fruity, and hoppy. Sweet, yet tangy.
The mouthfeel is medium-light with mild carbonation.
Overall, I'll give Cherimoya Project With Meyer Lemon | Platform Beer Co. a solid 4.5. What a privilege and joy to have experienced this blessing of the senses. Definitely grab this if you have the chance!

DefectDecent creamy foamy head fades semi quickly, nice lacing, semi clear copper tan almost amber color.
Nose fresh Meyer lemon, juicy roasted lemon, lemon zest, lime as well , citrus rind, bit of sweet malt and citrus hop, a sweet candy lemon lime jelly thing, creamy lemon can cake or something.
Taste brings more lemon, fresh lemon and roasted lemon, little lime too, tons of rind, citrus jello or lemon lime jelly with sweet candy like malt, little lemon syrup. Finish little sticky, fair bitterness, lingering lemon and rind, hops are little spicy grassy if anything.
Mouth is med bod, decent carb, little creamy.
Overall not bad, mostly lemon candied lemon, ok beer but not a lot going for it.

This is #4 out of 4 in the series. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy golden with a white head that fades leaving nice retention and sticky lacing. The aromas have tons of lemon notes. Some sweet caramel malts in the mix, but the lemon absolutely shines. The flavors are on the sweeter side, but still has a decent hop bitterness to it. Bittersweet. The lemon and citrus. shines once again. Solid malt backbone. Mosaic hops give this one some nice hop flavor. Lots of pine and fresh grass in the mix as well. Some herbal spices in the finish. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's smooth and easy to drink.
This is a nice unique IPA. The lemon isn't shy at all, but doesn't completely overwhelm. This one is up there with the Pomelo Grapefruit version in the series as my favorite. Well done.
