Dark amber, clear. Nice mild dank nose. Reminded me of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Good balance with heavy deep malt and piney hops. Poured with head that quickly dissipated.

Poured out of a 12 oz can into one of my pint glasses, this beer pours a slightly cloudy/hazy, mainly clear medium to dark golden color with lots of streams of little bubbles rapidly and continuously rising towards the beer's surface. Has a white head that's initially an inch thick when first poured that settles to a solid 1/4 of an inch thick. Aromas of some hints of caramel malt sweetness along with a citrusy, grapefruit, slightly funky, and earthy hop aroma. The taste is pretty much the same, with a slightly sweet, biscuity, caramel malt presence that gives way to a slight hint of musty funk and an ever so slight hint of tart sourness. Rounds out with the aforementioned grapefruit hop notes. Good balance of flavors all around, although the citrusy, grapefruit hop presence does nominate here just a tad. Has a very crisp, yet smooth, slightly prickly, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean and somewhat dry finish and aftertaste. AN interesting beer here all around.
