A - golden orange/yellow. Very little head.
S - strong notes of mango maybe, tropical.
T - same as smell, also with some type of spiciness. Definitely fruity, maybe that's whatever 'jocote' flavor is.
M - not much carbonation, but it is very well balanced and smooth.
O - I love the flavor. I'd prefer more carbonation, but maybe that's a function of the age. It's been sitting for a few months in a can... overall, I'll definitely get more.

It is the first time I am having this APA. I got it via a beer trade. It is quite interesting, brewed with Jacote fruit and Rangpur Lime.
Look: semi-clear copper hue with a half-inch bubbly white head.
Aroma: The aroma is sweet caramel and citrus and mango
Taste: The taste is also sweet caramel and there’s a plum like flavor, which I assume is the Jacote. I’ve never had that fruit. There’s also lime, mango and pine resin. I think it is very good.
Feel: Fairly light body and juicy

12oz can purchased as a single from local grocery chain for $1.89. No dating on can.
Tea colored elixir poured into SA perfect pint glass. A 2mm head of bright, white foam lingers during the tasting with copious lacing coating the glass.
Tropical mango, lime, tangerine with an interesting sweet, caramel and bubble gum overtones.
The taste is predominantly the tropical fruit and a sticky, pine aftertaste that lingers on the palate.
Light body, under carbonated, almost like fruit juice cocktail.
There is a lot to like here but I wonder if the can is outdated, as the flavors of the fruits are a bit dulled. I usually do not buy any hoppy beers that are not dated, but seeing as this is a local brew, took the chance.

12 ounce can into pint glass; no can dating, but is a recent release. Pours slightly hazy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, lemon, lime, grapefruit, plum, apricot, berry, mango, melon, citrus peel, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/tropical hops, fruit, and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, lemon, lime, grapefruit, plum, apricot, berry, mango, melon, citrus peel, light pepper/pine, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/herbal/spicy bitterness and slight fruit tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, lemon, lime, grapefruit, plum, apricot, berry, mango, melon, citrus peel, light pepper/pine, honey, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical hops, fruit, and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance; and zero cloying/astringent hop/fruit flavors after the finish. Light dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.1%. Overall this is a very nice fruited pale ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical hops, fruit, and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink. Very bright/juicy feeling with great hop/fruit balance; nice malty backbone, a little sweet but has solid dryness. A very enjoyable offering.

I'm trying this beer at Brewzaa off Rt.23 near Powell, OH. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent has some citrus peel...very faint. The taste is not evenly balanced. Bitter at start then a slurpy syrupy like ssweetness is introduced before turning slightly bitter at the finish. The Mouthfeel is medium in body with subtle carbonation. Overall it's ok certainly worth a try.

Pours an orange hue, with a nose that smells strongly of citrus and tropical fruit, with just the faintest hints of hop hiding in the underbrush. Palate-wise, this is a beer that leans heavily on its fruit underpinnings. An extremely sweet, tropical fruit note. Hints of papaya and jackfruit (most notably), with a touch of sweet and sour lime on the backend. A brew that tastes almost like juice. This is, ultimately, my biggest complaint with the beer. It's an exceptional new flavor that Platform has incorporated here, but they have done so to such an extreme as to mask the underlying beer and create something more akin to a soda.

Pours transparent amber in color with not much head. Aroma is a massively floral combo of hops, lime, and perfume. Heavy on the perfume, like the type a woman would wear.
It's flavor has a hoppy presence that is nearly completely masked by loads of peptol bismol flavor. It tastes like the thick, pink stomach elixir. Some lime in the background, with a taste similar to a woman's perfume. I'm not sure if this is exactly what they were going for, or some kind of mistake, but I'm not into it.
Crisp, dry mouthfeel. Platform makes some good beers, and then every once in a while has one that is just way off base. This one might be the worst.

Big lime notes and definitely reminded me of a shampoo. If my girlfriend smelled like this all the time that'd be wonderful. Sweet lime and proper hop notes that compliment it. Couldn't pick out the jocote. Good.
