Collaboration with Seventh Son Brewing Company
This is a "White IPA". 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy golden with a fluffy white head that falls leaving really nice retention and sticky lacing. The aromas have a nice amount of fruit along with some malts. It's more on the citrus side with some hints of tropical fruit. The wheat is subtle, but definitely leaves its mark. The flavors seem to follow the nose. Lots of sweet candy. Hints of grapefruit and mango. Malts do their thing. The wheat gives this one a sweetness, but the hops still balance everything out giving this one a solid bitterness. It's ultimately bittersweet. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is nice. It's medium-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. It's fluffy and smooth.
This is a solid IPA. It might not be flashy, but it's enjoyable stuff. The wheat adds a nice dimension. Well crafted.
