This DIPA was sent to me by a friend in Ohio and I really liked it.
Look: cloudy dark copper, almost reddish brown, with a half inch off-white foam.
Aroma: The aroma is citrus, grapefruit, some pint.
Taste: It has a bready malt backbone with grapefruit, mandarin/orange flavors, and there’s lots of pine. It has a long aftertaste of grapefruit and pine and there’s almost no hint of alcohol. The Baby got Blanc Double IPA has Blanc, Simcoe, Zues, Bravo, Centennial and Mandarina Bavaria Hops. It’s fairly complex and it has a lot of taste. It is very good.
Feel: It has a medium body and its juicy.

Poured from a growler
It is a very dark copper. Mostly transparent with a big sticky tan head. You would almost swear this was a Marzen or amber Ale.
Smells juicy and fairly sweet with some distinct sugar. Orange is one of the fruity aromas. Also some alcohol.
It has a strong bready malt backbone but there is plenty of bitterness. It is a solid bitterness that is present all the way through which really helps with the overly sweet candied orange. Also some pine, peach, passion fruit, and grapefruit.
Nice full, fluffy body. Alcohol is really not noticeable.
A solid, very drinkable beer.

Collaboration with The Daily Growler
16oz can poured into a tulip. Pours amber with great clarity; fluffy light khaki head that fades leaving nice retention and nice lacing. The aromas are full of sweet citrus and vanilla cream. Hints of orange, grapefruit and caramel. Lots of malts. The flavors are bittersweet. Strong malt backbone, but the hops aren't diminished. Solid bitterness as well. More orange and grapefruit along with some pine. Some hints of pine resin as well. Slightly spicy. It finishes with a nice warmth, but it's not hot or boozy. Mouthfeel is full-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. It drinks like a big brew, but it's still pretty smooth. Dangerously drinkable.
This is a solid DIPA. It's reminiscent of an "Imperial Red IPA". It's malty, but the hops still shine. It's nothing too crazy, but it's still pretty enjoyable and fun to drink.
