Deep orange color-small off white head. Fades fast and leaves little to no lacing.
Smells of sweet orange, marmalade jam, caramel malt.
Taste is on the sweet side. Mostly orange and melon. Aspirin butter finish.
Mouthfeel is medium with low carbonation.
This is not a bad beer but it is a bit rough around the edges. I kinda like the hop profile but the malt bill is a tad sweet and the finish is a bit harsh.

Not what I was expecting for a dIPA. Tangerine and grapefruit on the nose that held promise but tasted like nutty crackers with a hoppy finish that was trying to do more but never did. Platform is reliably hit or miss - this is a miss.

Not what I was expecting. Too malty. Was hoping for a crisp, clean, hop forward IPA but this was malt forward with some citrus hop in the background. Kind of a tangerine based taste. Ok but won't be seeking it out again.

12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a very hazy glowing burnt orange; big fluffy light tan head that slowly falls leaving great retention and sticky lacing. The aromas are malt forward with some fresh fruit. Citrus is there. Hints of caramel along with some sweet orange. Subtle hints of cream. The flavors are bold. Bittersweet. Strong malt backbone, but the hops aren't hidden. Lots of orange along with some watermelon. There's a nice amount of caramel that lingers. It finishes slightly warm, but it's not hot or boozy. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of full-bodied, possibly medium-bodied with slick active carbonation. It's ultimately smooth, but makes for a nice sipper.
This is an alright DIPA. It's not bad at all. It comes down to what characteristics and hop profiles you look for in the style. Even if I'm personally not crazy about it, I'm still enjoying the experience.
