Poured from a tallboy into a tulip. Sadly, this beer met expectations...which were, admittedly, rock bottom. Saccharine juice through the palate with a lager finish. Not even a hint of salt - a gose in name only. What are you doing Platform?

Poured out of a 16 oz can into one of my weizen glasses, this beer pours a clear, fairly pale, medium golden color, with a shite head that's about an inch thick when first poured that settles very quickly tp a thin ring lining the inside of the glass. Barely any lacing. Also has lots of streams of little bubbles rapidly and continuously rising to the beer's surface. Aromas of pair tart and alright. Not much else though, if anything at all. Some of the lychee I suppose. Has a somewhat sweet pair taste followed by nice tart and salty notes and a bit more sweetness from the lychee. A very refreshing taste overall, and a very nice representation of this style hat also has a it if its own unique twist. Has a crisp, slightly prickly, yet smooth, light to medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a smooth finish along with a somewhat dry, tart and salty aftertaste. A very enjoyable beer all around.

16oz can poured into a weizen glass
A: Pale yellow with buttles that instantly settle, no head to speak of
S: Every note on the can is there - prickly pear, lychee, tart/salty
T: This is quite tasty, again matching the nose. The tartness of the prickly pear matches the sweetness of the lychee with a light salinity from the style
M: Light-bodied, a nice sweet/sour balance
O: Well-made, quite tasty
