This is part of their Small Batch IPA Series.
12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a deep golden with nice clarity and transparency; small white head that fades leaving nice bubbly retention and nice lacing. The aromas have hints of cracker and fresh bread. Malts and grains are there. Mild hints of citrus in the background. The flavors are clean and refreshing. Some lemon and grapefruit in the mix. Subtle hints of pine and fresh grass. Hints of caramel. Moderate bitterness. Solid malt backbone, but the hops still do their thing. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's slick and smooth. Easy drinking stuff.
This is an alright IPA. It's not flashy and is more of a classic "old school" example of the style, which is just fine. Not bad at all.
