12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 11/2/2017. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a small cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, melon, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, wheat, white bread dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, melon, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, wheat, white bread dough, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, melon, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, wheat, white bread dough, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.1%. Overall this is an excellent NE DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV; with the mellowly bitter/drying finish, never aggressive. Really great showcase of Chinook and Amarillo. Balanced juicy/dank hop complexity, fruity Conan yeast, and bready malts. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Had it on tap in a shaker pint at a burger place in Cincinnati. Slightly cloudy yellow with good head and lacing. Nice citrus smell and flavor. Strong grapefruit. Went great with my “Chuck Norris” burger!

Lucky to stumble upon this in Columbus OH just passing though. Smooth, easy to drink. I'd never guess it's 8.1. Drinks easy.

I bought a six pack of this from my local Meijer. It poured a hazy orangish with thin white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent has dank notes with touches of tropical fruit. the taste is nicely balanced and easy to drink with abv presence. The mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its a tasty beer.
