12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 8/28/2017. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lightly tart lemon, lime, pineapple, pear, red/green apple, white grape, smoked salt, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, grass, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Nice aromas with good balanced and complexity of fruity/light acidic yeast, pineapple, smoked salt, pale malt, and light earthy hop notes; with good strength. Taste of tart lemon, lime, pineapple, pear, red/green apple, white grape, smoked salt, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, grass, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light fruity/lactic tartness, fruit/wheat tang, and herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, pineapple, pear, red/green apple, white grape, smoked salt, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, herbal, grass, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/light acidic yeast, pineapple, smoked salt, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/tartness balance, and zero puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Lightly increasing dryness from tartness and fruit/wheat tang. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready, and fairly acidic/saline/tangy balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a very good Gose. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/light acidic yeast, pineapple, smoked salt, pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink; with the mildly lactic/tangy/drying finish. Unique, well made, and very approachable. Not as lactic as I expected but solid. Not overdone on the salt, smokiness, or pineapple. A very enjoyable offering, and nice style example.

-Duvel globe. Pineapple smoked sea salt.
A: A porous, sudsy dirty white head s its a atop a very pale lemon colored body. Huge, sloppy foam deposits smear the vessel. Inside, a light sporadic release of carbonation that was loosely dense with a high clarity rate.
S: A pungent tart lemon aroma opens things up mingling with tart pineapple fruit. A good deal of sourness effect that is very clean with a finish of tart smoked fruit.
T: Smokey tart pineapple for flavor, again, very clean kettle souring, with nice sea salt accents. Very defined and sharp, especially considering its modest 3.0%abv nature. The palate was clean and crisp of wheat and pilsner malts showcasing the kettle souring nicely. There is some sweet maltiness mixing with the sour funkiness that leaves with a lingering lemon tartness post-swallow.
M: Crisp mouthful, oily medium body, nice substance considering low abv%.
O: Very easy drink-ability, love the tart pineapple and sea salt combination. Cleanly brewed, crisp flavor, very good per style. Initially a good impression, that holds your attention. Liked the inventiveness and addition of smoked pineapple. cheers.

Pale gold with a slight haze and a minimal, soft white fizz on top.
Smell is lactic and salty sea with Colby cheese and faint wheat.
Taste is lemon with a faint pineapple sweetness, but not much actual flavor and absolutely no smoke. Tartness is lactic, with sea water and a little wet hay.
Feel is frothy soft with a semi-dry finish.

16oz bottle poured into a pint glass
A: Light orange with a thin head
S: I hate just listing the adjuncts as the smell descriptors but that's exactly what this smells like - pineapple and smoked sea salt
T: The flavors add a bit of citrus and light hop with a pineapple midpalate and a bit of salt on the finish
M: Light-bodied, crisp
O: Tasty and refreshing
