Overwhelmingly sharp notes of citrus hit the nose on the pour. Dense orange in color; slightly cloudy. Tastes of lemon peel, Granny Smiths, and grapefruit. Very Tart; curls the tongue. Very interesting and decent IPA. Falls far short of the Hop Ramble in overall presentation, but is nonetheless engaging and highly drinkable.

Totally opaque light orange with a large khaki head.

Smell is cracker, orange, tangerine, lemon, white wine vinegar, rug, Cheez-Its, and black pepper.

Taste is red apple, orange, and tart lemon.

Smooth, semi-thick, crisp and dry.

This is part of their "Small Batch IPA Series". Canned on 7/9/17. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy orangish burnt golden with some sediment; big chunky white head that slowly falls leaving great thick retention and sticky frothy lacing. The aromas are damp along with some ripe tropical fruit. Malts are there and blend well with the hops. The flavors follow the nose for the most part. Some pineapple and grapefruit lead the way. It's slightly sweet, but nothing too crazy. Hints of sticky caramel. Slightly resinous. Malts are there. Moderate bitterness. Mouthfeel is light with moderate to low carbonation. It's very fluffy and slightly thin. Pretty smooth and easy to drink.

This is a solid IPA. Solid use of mosaic hops. It might not be "mind blowing", but it's nice and enjoyable stuff. It's a nice edition to their "Small Batch IPA Series", but Elevated Hop Ramble is still the best one in the series to date, in my opinion. This one is in second place though.
