I am getting a late start on my (Un?)Happy Get Back Up On the Platform for A New Beer Sunday (Week 756), but I actually uncovered a couple more that I had overlooked last week & I just returned from a monthly beer share.
From the CAN: "Kettle Sour Series"; "Berliner Weisse Style"; "Blood Orange*Apricot*Tart";"Malts[:] Pilsner[,] Pale Wheat[,] Vienna[,] Wheat Flakes[,] Hops[:] Crystal[,] Yeast[:] American Ale[,] Adjunct[:] Blood Orange[,] Apricot[,] Lactose[,] Plato[:] 9.6[,] IBU[:] 4"; "Ohio Craft Beer".
I beCAN by Crack!ing open this problem child's vent.
A "problem child" is a CAN that pooches outward, usually on its lid, and must be immediately refrigerated to prevent bursting. Sometimes, there is no warning & the beer is lost, but when I hear that "PING!" like an M-14 running out of ammo, I try to identify the culprit & get it into the reefer. This was one of those.
Nothing untoward was happening so I CANtinued with a slow, but aggro, Glug to ensure that the wheat & adjuncts were back in suspension. It created a rolling, fizzing two fingers of fizzy, foamy, bone-white head that quickly reduced to wisps. Color was a deeply-hazy/lightly-cloudy Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7). Nose had a definite sourness, quite orangey, but nothing unexpected or untoward. The wheat added a tangy twang to the equation. Mmm. Mouthfeel was a bit thin, kinda watery. Oh well. The taste was quite tart, very much of its blood orange & apricot adjuncts, which were easily discernible. Mmm. Finish was tart & dry, but a perfect beer for a hot, humid Summer's evening. Man, I am glad to have found this in the cellar reefer, especially since I am melting in the face of today's heat. YMMV.

Canned on 4/17/2018 and poured from 16 oz. can into pint glass. It pours an almost opaque, golden-tangerine color with a half finger of foamy, bright white head head and a creamy film of lacing. The nose features lemon peel, wheat cracker and brett yeast. The taste opens sweeter than I anticipated with ripe apricot and some orange. It's sour but not strongly so. After the initial sweet and sour notes, there is a decided wheat cracker flavor particularly in the after taste. The feel is light and crisp and with an ABV of 4.2% it's a super easy drinker. Overall, this is a tasty Berliner. I like the fact it's not overly sour and the wheat biscuit is a nice foil to the sweet fruit.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 4/3/2018. Pours fairly hazy golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with decent retention, that reduces to a nothing pretty quickly. Minimal lacing, some sticking bubbles on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy peaches, blood orange, fruit skin, lemon, lime, pear, red/green apple, melon, white wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruit, fruity/acidic yeast, and light-moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy peaches, blood orange, fruit skin, lemon, lime, pear, red/green apple, melon, white wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour/tart/tangy peaches, blood orange, fruit skin, lemon, lime, pear, red/green apple, melon, white wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruit, fruity/acidic yeast, and light-moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a nice malt/tart/sourness and tangy fruit balance. Mild lingering pucker through the glass, but not overwhelming. Moderate increasing dryness from tart/sourness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, moderately grainy/acidic/tangy/tannic, and fairly crisp balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.2%. Overall this is a delicious fruited Berliner weisse. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruit, fruity/acidic yeast, and light-moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and pretty refreshing to drink with the moderately acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish, not overly lactic. Balanced juicy fruits and Lacto; with a solid pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected.

A tart, semi-sweet sour, hazy yellow-orange color. Has a unique, delicious aftertaste, similar to Platform’s cherry pie donut gose. Above average carbonation which adds to the tartness. Goes down very easy. I would take the cherry pie donut offering over this one but would drink this second. Recommended
