Thanks Jason.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking semi-hazed copper color with a finger's worth of white foamy head. This swiftly dissolved to leave some messy lace.
The aroma had a semi-sweet citrusy/grapefruity pulp to pith-like semi-bitter fashion. Subtle grassy hop notes with a cracked white pepper and smooth malt.
The flavor meshed finely together the sweet to the spicy and provoked a nice dry semi-sweet hoppy and bitter citrusy rind aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied, seemed just a touch under. Good carbonation and an appropriate ABV. Dry, crisp and semi-sweet in the finish.
Overall, very nice AIPA, one that I would welcome again.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 5/14/2018. Pours slightly hazy deep golden amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, watermelon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, honey, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, lemon zest, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, watermelon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey/caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, watermelon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, honey, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, lemon zest, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is an awesome session IPA! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, lemon zest, and bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and pretty refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Very flavorful with a great malt body for the ABV. Citra showcase; with added Galena, El Dorado, and Centennial. Very juicy, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; great bready Munich malt backbone; and minimal residual sweetness from lingering dryness. A really enjoyable offering. Best in the series so far.

I have enjoyed all of "The Project". Variations on a theme.

Pours a golden dark yellow with a foamy white head that sticks around. Brewed with 4 types of hops and they come through in the smell, a nice bit of citrus and lemon as well. Flavor starts with a nice hop profile that goes from earthy citrus to piney resin without much bitterness. The hops linger for awhile. The lemon is more of an accent than a driving flavor in the beer. The mouthfeel is great, a hearty medium and it’s so smooth. Overall a very sessionable beer as advertised, great flavor that has a nice balance with the hops being the star. Definitely worth checking out!
