Sampled on tap from a 5-ounce flight glass. Hazy yellow color, with a long-lasting white that left some nice lacing. In addition to the pine, citrus, and tropical fruit on the nose and palate, I picked up a hint of salinity and a pleasant note of umami. (Could this be from the yeast? Not sure.) Good malt backbone that provides structure while allowing the hops to do their thing. Good mouthfeel, good carbonation, and a little bit of sweetness lingering on the palate. Overall, a delicious and very interesting brew.

Got in a trade with spelingchampeon. 12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 5/25/2018. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a small dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, orange, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, grapefruit, mango, melon, red apple, passion fruit, berry, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, white bread dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with fruity/citrus/tropical hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, orange, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, grapefruit, mango, melon, red apple, passion fruit, berry, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, white bread dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, zesty, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, grapefruit, mango, melon, red apple, passion fruit, berry, citrus zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/citrus/tropical hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance; and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is a very nice NEIPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/citrus/tropical hops, fruity yeast, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and pretty refreshing to drink, with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Awesomely soft feel. Pretty unique hop profile from Calista, Loral, Mosaic, Chinook, and Amarillo; with balanced Voss Kveik yeast character. Very juicy and lightly dank hop/yeast complexity; perfectly balanced oat/wheat/pale malt backbone, with mild residual sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. Really well made.

12 oz can poured into a pub-style pint glass.
Appearance
Lightly hazy blonde. Light carbonation. 1 finer of creamy white head.
Nose
Pineapple, passion fruit, candy sugar, lemon slices, and wintergreen.
Taste
Tart lemon juice and a light lactic sourness. Light peach, passion fruit, and pineapple. Candy sugar maltiness. Grapefruit zest bitterness lingers.
Mouthfeel
Medium bodied, silky, smooth, tart, bitter, and dry.
Overall
This is the second "NEIPA" that I've had recently that had a lactic sourness. Very disappointed.

L. Slightly hazy light-orange, nice frothy head which hangs out a while and leaves a good lacing. 4.00
S. Bright honeycomb, apricot, pineapple. Slightly peppery sweet tropical aroma. 4.25
T. Bitter up front like lemon, orange peel, and some grapefruit juice. These flavors continue with decreasing bitterness through the finish, with a bit of bread and spice. Finishes with a peppery vegetable or under-ripe pineapple. 3.75
F. Smooth medium body, not drying, slight boozy zing in the finish. 3.75
O. Pretty good and refreshing. Not too sweet or bitter but flavorful, drinkable, and enjoyable. 3.75
Cheers!
