I've had a can of this sitting in my fridge for a few months now. Until tonight. Poured into one of my pint glasses, this beer pours a fairly hazy/cloudy medium golden/light copper color with a white head that's about half an inch thick when poured.. Head settles eventually to a thick white ring lining the inside of the glass along with some big cluster swirls of foam on the beer's surface lining the inside of the glass. Decent lacing. Aromas of of some bready, slightly toasted, caramel malts and wheat. Also some earthy, piney hops. The taste is pretty much the same, with some bready, slightly toasted, caramel malt sweetness along with some definite wheat and also a bit of spice. Rounded out with a bit of earthy, piney hop bitterness. Good balance of flavors overall. Has a fairly crisp, yet smooth and frothy, medium bodied mouthfeel. A good beer overall here.

12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours golden with a subtle haze and has bubbles racing upwards; small white head that fades leaving solid retention and lacing. The aromas have a nice amount of malts. Hints of caramel along with some spices. The flavors basically follow the nose for the most part. More caramel along with some toffee. Hints of lemon. Subtle spice and floral notes. Some wheat and malts. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is nice. It's light with sharp active carbonation. It's smooth and easy to drink.

This beer doesn't really remind me much of a wheat ale, but it's still not bad at all. It's enjoyable and fun to drink. I do like it.
