A thanks to the commander of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a very hazy dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of peaches, pineapple. Taste is citrus, light pineapple, moderate bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.

This is part of the CANtinuation of my (Un?)Happy New Jumping Off of the New Platform Beer Sunday (Week 755)! I have been redding up my house during my CANvalescence from surgery & putting together a number of brewery horizontals in doing so. I had planned, even before its announcement about its sale to A-B/InBev, to drink a buncha beers & a seltzer from Kleveland's Platform Beer Co. for this week's NBS. I was disheartened to hear of the news, especially having read the GI story. I am not one to boycott a beer due to their acquisition by a large corporation, but it did take some of the wind out of my sails.

From the CAN: "Small Batch IPA Series"; "Grains[:] 2 Row[,] White Wheat[,] Malted Oats[,] Caramalt[,] Hops[:] Warrior[,] Amarillo[,] Callista[,] Yeast[:] Voss Viek[,] Adjunct[:] Flaked Oats[,] Style[:] NEIPA[,] Plato[:] 16.25[,] IBU[:] 32"; "Ohio Craft Beer".

Once again, I was striving for clarity following the Crack!ing open of the vent. I beCAN with a slow, gentle C-Line Glug, but it became readily apparent that cloudy was the forecast for this one. As such, I stepped up my rate of pour, sacrificing any potential clarity I favor of the formation of two-plus fingers of foamy, soapy, rocky, tawny head with moderate retention. Color was a cloudy Amber (SRM = > 7, < 9). Nose smelled primarily of orange and tangerine with a little bit of pineapple thrown in for good measure. Mmm. Mouthfeel was medium. The taste was more bitter than the nose had led me to expect with grapefruit joining the already crowded citrus party. Still, I was thankful that it was not tropical since those are flavors that I am really tired of tasting. Pineapple & orange were like Saturday mornings after a sleepover at my maternal grandparents' house as that was their juice blend of choice. I CANnot tell you when I decided that I preferred grapefruit juice, but I still do. This was a really juicy beer, that is what I am trying to impart. Finish was slightly bitter, but definitely dry. I really dug this one. YMMV.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that quickly settled down, leaving lots of lacing on the surface and some traces of bubbles down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of orange citrus and pineapple are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of citrusy hops—oranges seem to stand out in particular—along with hints of pineapples. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: I feels just about medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA has nice fruity and juicy flavors and goes down rather easily.

I got a 6pck of this from my local meijer. It poured a cloudy orangish with white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had orange juice notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with citrus peel presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

This is part of their "Small Batch IPA Series". Canned on 10/19/18. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy and cloudy yellowish golden; fluffy white head that falls leaving nice bubbly retention and nice lacing. The aromas some citrus and tropical fruits. Some pineapple, orange and grapefruit. Some bread and crackers. Malts are there. The flavors have more pineapple, orange and grapefruit. Some apricot and peach in the mix. Some fresh grass. Subtle sweetness. Moderate to low bitterness. Finishes juicy. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. It's fluffy, sharp, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a solid "New England IPA". It's more or less what you would expect from the style. Not bad at all.

Light, non-bitter, IPA with great floral taste. Hops: warrior, amarillo, callista. This would probably appeal to those who usually don't like IPAs, due to the light body, and lack of bitterness. Drinks like a 4% (but actually 6.6%). For a non-bitter IPA, I don't know how you could improve this one.
