This over-fruited Berliner Weisse is bursting with aromas of plum and dark cherry. Upon first sip of this pink guava beauty, you’ll get notes of tart dark fruit and subtle clove enveloped in a wheaty body. The finish is slightly tannic, tart and crisp; perfect as we leave summer behind and head into the cooler fall months.

While this beer was a pretty sour tasty experience I couldn't get over how over carbonated it was. Super bubbly like champagne made for a surprisingly hard drinking experience. Not sure if I got a bad can but every sip was like a mouthfull of foam. A very tasty sour one could enjoy over the course of a half hour.

A: The beer is very hazy purple in color. It poured with a two finger high off white head that has bits of pinkish hues. The head died down but consistently left a very large patch of bubbles covering the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of plums and guava fruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has a light to moderate amount of sourness with flavors of plums and hints of guava fruit and wheat.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and a little tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is an interesting version of an Imperial Berliner Weisse that still tastes like a sour weisse beer and not quite like an American Wild Ale.
