A - Hazy dark orange body, off white head, fat, rocky, with lots of big and small bubble lacing.

S - Primarily citrus, a bit of tangerine and lemon, mango and passionfruit. A bit of spun sugar, just a hint of banana.

T - Follows the nose, with fruit and a malty sweetness, a trailing banana aspect, and a finish of moderate bitterness.

M - Mild carbonation, silky softness, a bit of biting dryness in the finish.

O - A nice IPA, with NE aspects, but a flavor profile that feels very Western. Decent.

This is a "Milkshake Style IPA" brewed with banana puree, vanilla and graham crackers. Canned on 11/21/18. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy burnt golden; fluffy off-white head that falls leaving nice retention and sticky lacing. The aromas have banana, bubblegum and malts. The flavors follow the nose. More banana leading the way. More bubblegum notes. The vanilla does its thing without dominating or being overwhelming. Moderate to low bitterness. There's a touch of sweetness. Malts do their thing. Alcohol basically goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is very nice. It's medium-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. It's sharp, smooth and ultimately dangerously drinkable.

This is a pretty unique beer, and I mean that in a good way. The banana shines and gives this one a "Belgian vibe". If there was ever a "Belgian New England IPA" (maybe there already is), this is close to what I would expect. This one is surprisingly clean and refreshing. The craftsmanship is on point. Well done. I really like it.
