Aromas of juicy peach and subtle sweet vanilla give way to a bright tart flavor. Generous amounts of wheat lighten the body for this refreshing sour.

Great tasting beer bright peach flavor tart and fruity with notes of vanilla and lemon. Easy crisp light body smooth tart finish. Easy to session body would be easy to have a few. Great beer I got for a couple bucks!

This is the third of New Back to the Beer Future Sunday, Part 5, Mission II (Week 763), taking me/us back to Week 755 & pre-sale Platform! It also furthers the mission of The CANQuest (tm). Yay!
From the CAN:"Kettle Sour Series"; "Berliner Weisse Style Ale"; "Peach*Vanilla*Tart"; "Grains[:] Pilsner[,] Pale Wheat[,] Vienna[,] Wheat Flakes[,] Hops[:] Crystal[,] Yeast[:] American Ale[,] Adjuncts[:] Peach[,] Vanilla[,] Plato[:] 9.6[,] IBU[:] 4".
I CANducted some in-CAN agitation before Crack!ing open the vent, but as a Berliner Weisse, I wanted to ensure that any flocculate was back in suspension. This time, it really worked! I was getting a LOT of foaming during the Glug, eventually beCANming nearly two fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, eggshell-white head with decent retention. Color was a lightly-cloudy Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7). Nose was quite peachy, literally & figuratively. I like peaches & have since childhood, plus this was redolent with them. Peachy keen! Mouthfeel had some heft to it for the style, putting it in the medium range. The taste was much more in line with the style with both a tartness on the front end & a sourness after the swallow. Mmm. This, CANpled with the peach, made it very palatable. I have to admit that I was a wee bit CANcerned by the inclusion of vanilla, but it was barely discernible. Tart/sour peach was the name of the game here. Finish was dry with a slight puckering quality, especially of my lips. I also got a sour tingling in the hinges of my jaw. Phew!

A: The beer is hazy yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly settled down, leaving a patch of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of sour peaches are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and starts out with flavors of peaches and a light to moderate amount of sourness. There are notes of vanilla beans towards the finish.
M: It feels light-bodied and a little tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very refreshing and easy to drink. I liked the interplay between the flavors of peaches and vanilla in the taste.
