Fromm the tall boy can in a snifter. This brew pours a nicely
hazed orange tinged amber color with a nice head of white foam that
settles to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and shows light lacing.
Nose of almonds, vanilla, cream, and subtle citrus fruit notes of orange zest
amongst some sweet caramel. Flavors expand on the nose with
a smooth marshmallow cream note over caramel and mild
almond notes with touches of honey and light citrus notes
of orange zest and vanilla. Nice mouth feel; medium light
body, smooth, lightly crisp and refreshing, medium light
carbonation, and a subtly dry finish.

Overall, a solid brew, just wish I knew before hand it
had nuts in it so I am keeping this drink more for her
than myself....could get a little rough if I keep drinking
due to allergies....sigh. Give it a shot!

Cheers

Thanks Richard and Alanna!!

A: A pale orange amber in color, and a very light tan head.

S: Very sweet, with bready aromas, and cream. Perhaps a hint of nutmeg. As well as vanilla.

T: Vanilla, bread, sweetness, with a hint of a tart note.

M: Light in in body, fairly high carbonation, and a pretty huge cling.

O: Overall a really interesting brew.. not sure if I could do more than one, but still tasty.

Poured out of a 16 oz can into one of my pint glasses, this beer pours a pretty clear, medium golden color with lots of streams of little bubbles fairly rapidly and continually rising to the beer's surface. Has a big, fluffy looking white head that's over an inch thick when first poured that settles eventually to a solid 1/4 inch head with good retention and nice lacing. Aromas of some bready malts with a bit of caramel sweetness followed by vanilla, almonds, and cocoa. The taste is very much the same, with bready malts and some caramel malts followed by some nuttiness of the almonds, a nice hint of vanilla, milk sugar, and cocoa that adds additional sweetness. The sweetness is well balanced and this is not overly sweet by any means. Has a bit of an earthy hop presence to round out the flavor profile. Has a crisp, also smooth, light to medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish with a slightly sweet aftertaste. Easy to drink in the way good beer out to be. A nice take on this style by Platform.

Collaboration with Prantl's Bakery. 16oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy, glowing and deep golden; nice creamy white head that falls leaving great retention and sticky lacing. The aromas have a nice blend of vanilla, almonds and cocoa. Some fresh bread. Malts are there. The flavors basically follow the nose for the most part. More almonds and vanilla. More hints of cocoa. Some fresh dough. Pastry flavors come through without coming off as sweet. The lactose seems to take a backseat. Malts do their thing without dominating. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is very nice. It's medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, crisp, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a nice brew. It has a dessert/pastry vibe without being sweet, which is pretty cool. It's obviously unique for the style, but it really works. It's well crafted, very enjoyable and fun to drink. It's a pretty clean beer. I really like it.
