I got a 4pck of this from the beer store just around the corner. It poured a clear golden with very thin white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had peanut butter notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with reese's peanut butter cup presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

Subtle sweet vanilla and chocolate with good peanut butter which was not very dry and a smooth sweet finish. Overall interesting concept great execution.

Overall, not a bad beer. I was mainly hoping that the vanilla/cream and chocolate notes stuck out a bit more than they did. This is definitely a lighter beer than I was expecting for a beer with chocolate in the name. It was a bit pricey at $16 for a four pack, but certainly worth a try for Schmidt's lovers and beer lovers alike.

16 ounce can, looks like the canning date stamped on the bottom of the can is 04/25/19. Served in a mug, the beer pours a hazy golden/orange color with about an inch and a half off-white head that fizzled away somewhat quickly. Not much lacing at all. The brew smells like peanuts, cocoa and some bready/grainy malt. I think the taste is similar to the aroma but there's a bit of apple and earthy hop flavors noticeable too. Peanut butter really comes through in the finish, and it's a lot more peanutty than chocolately to me. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit slick and easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. I thought this was an enjoyable brew, if you like peanuts/peanut butter then you should definitely give this one a try! $14.99 a 4-pack.

A very unique peanut butter brew! Lighter colored than most peanut butter flavored brews that I have encountered. The first peanut butter brew that I have had where a real good peanut butter flavor is more forward than any chocolate taste. Gosh I wish this were a permanent offering!!

Collaboration with Schmidt's Restaurant and Sausage Haus. 16oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a glowing hazy orangish golden with some bubbles racing upwards; small white head that fades leaving decent retention and lacing. The aromas are basically all peanut butter. It smells just like real peanut butter and not anything fake or artificial. Malts are there. The flavors follow the nose perfectly. More peanut butter leading the way. The cocoa and chocolate is there, but pretty subtle and almost goes unnoticed at times. Low bitterness. Malts do their thing. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, crisp and smooth.
This is a very nice brew. The peanut butter really shines and comes off as natural. The chocolate aspects are subtle, but it's still all good. This one is obviously not a traditional example of the style, but it's simply an enjoyable brew. The craftsmanship is on point. I really like this one.
