Long awaited re-release with our friends at The BonBonerie Bakery in Cincinnati. An American stout to welcome fall. Crystal and Galena are the stars on the hop side and a plethora of different malts were used to develop the the dynamic malt bill. Notes of Chocolate, coffee, and just a little nutty, this stout will be the perect pairing with some BonBonerie treats.

12 oz can from Kevin
Calusa Snifter
Deep black inky pour with a creamy cap of 1/2 finger, receding to a thick ring with bubbly lace.
Fresh coffee aroma with slight vanilla cake and creme frosting, perhaps some slight raspberry syrup.
Flavor is tiramisu and cake batter, with slight jimmies and peppery coffee. Slight chocolate cake. Wow this is freaking good. Nice coffee roast on the finish.
Feel is a bit thin but not bad, still has a good medium body, with a tight moderate carbonation and slight coffee dryness.
Overall an incredible session stout, it packs all the pastry flavors into a 5.8% beer and that's quite incredible. Super happy about this one.

12 ounce can, canned on 09/19/19. Thanks to my friend Denis for this one! Served in a pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that stayed around for a long time. Decent amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like chocolate cake, coffee, cream, roasted malt and vanilla. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some caramel flavor noticeable too. But for the most part it does have a chocolate cake like flavor. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a little slick and creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. Easy enough to drink. I thought it was a nice sweeter tasting stout, worth a try if you come across some.

Pleasantly surprised by this one. As advertised, tastes like a rich, chocolate/vanilla mouse with coffee and cream. Sweet, but balanced well with the coffee. Definitely a fuller mouthfeel for the ABV. Platform is so wildly hit and miss, but this one is definitely a "hit" for me!

Collaboration with BonBonerie Pastries. Canned on 9/19/19. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours almost black with a dark khaki head that fades leaving decent retention and lacing. The aromas have a sweet vibe going on. Some vanilla and coconut leading the way. Subtle hints of coffee. Lots of malts. The flavors follow the nose perfectly. More vanilla and coconut. Subtle hints of cocoa and chocolate. The coffee does its thing without shining or dominating. Solid malt backbone. Low bitterness. This one is definitely on the sweeter side. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is on the fuller side of light-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.
This is a nice dessert stout. It's on the sweeter side, but it's supposed to be. The coffee notes are balanced. Nice aromas and flavors. I like it.
