Collaboration with Brewnuts Donuts & Beer. 16oz can poured into a tulip. Pours copper with a subtle haze but still has some clarity to it with bright red hues; small light khaki head that quickly fades leaving decent retention and lacing. The aromas have a subtle amount of bourbon hovering over everything. Some caramel and toffee. Malts are there. The spices almost go unnoticed in the aroma department. The flavors are bold and vibrant. Cinnamon and ginger come through. There's a nice amount of cherries in the mix. Some coconut and vanilla. The bourbon comes through and accents the spices and everything else very well. There's a nice sweetness, but it's definitely not cloying or over the top at all. Subtle spiciness. Malts do their thing. Mild warmth in the finish, but it's not hot or boozy at all. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of full-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. It's fluffy and smooth. This one is ultimately dangerously drinkable despite drinking somewhat big.

This is a really nice barrel-aged brew. It's bold, but balanced. The bourbon barrel characteristics come through. It's perfect for the holiday season. I personally wasn't crazy about their regular Holiday Donut Cookie, but this version is awesome. The execution is impressive. Well done. I really like it. It's definitely worth checking out.
