I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local beer store just around the corner. It poured an opaque dark with a very thin ecru ring head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had bold cocoa nibs and marshmallow flare. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with dark chocolate and roast presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

16 oz can, born on 12/18/19, poured into a tulip glass at around 60 degrees F:
L - black with a head that dissipated quickly yet lingered at the edges
S - malty molasses, coffee and caramel
T - very smooth and well balanced, a boozy flavor with malt and molasses, coffee, caramel
F - thick mouthfeel with minimal carbonation
O - a complex beer that seems to be at its peak at almost one year old

Purchased during a recent trip to Ohio before the virus.

Poured from a can into a tulip glass. Deep dark brown color with decent head and lacing. Chocolate and dark berries smell and taste. Toasted pumpernickel and a bit of coffee. Enjoyed with the family with pizza on the veranda!

From the tall boy can in a snifter. This beefy beast pours a rich
obsidian with a thin dark tea highlight and a nice head of tan foam
that settles to a thick ring, thin layer, and shows very nice lacing.
Nose of coffee, light anise, cocoa, brulee, and char. Flavors surpass
the nose by presentation of cocoa nibs and subtle cream with dark
espresso and faint anise with rich layers of char and dark berry
notes. Very nice mouth feel; full body, smooth, lightly chewy, light
carbonation, and a rich coating finish.

Overall, one of the best imperials I have had this year.

Cheers

16oz can poured into a tulip. Pours almost black; small dark khaki head that fades leaving decent retention and lacing. The aromas have a nice amount of coffee along with some vanilla and roasted malts. Some chocolate. The flavors basically follow the nose. More roasted coffee leading the way. Vanilla comes through. It's sticky. The Belgian candi sugar definitely comes through giving this one a sweetness to it, but it's not cloying. Low bitterness. Nice malt backbone. Subtle warmth, but the alcohol is well hidden. Mouthfeel is full-bodied with moderate to low carbonation. It's fluffy, creamy, velvety and smooth. This one is bold, but dangerously drinkable.

This is a nice Russian Imperial Stout. It basically has everything that you'd want in the style. The coffee and candi sugar gives this one a little flash. It's bold but ultimately balanced. It's enjoyable and fun to drink. Well done.

On tap, served in a snifter. Pours black, with an almost nonexistent head. The nose smells strongly of coconut (more than is detectable on the palate), and coffee, though far stronger on the tongue, comes through on the nose. The dominant note on the palate is the coffee - an excellent, almost Selassie-like note. The palate progresses into sweet chocolate and coconut. The palate is a touch too thin for my tastes for an Imp Stout, though in that way is also like a number of the Omnipollo stouts. It's a solid Imp Stout, and the coffee note is not to be beaten, but the rest of the beer, unfortunately, doesn't live up to that stellar component.
