16 ounce can, stamp says canned on 09/22/20, thanks to Brutaltruth for this brew! Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about a half inch tan head that didn't stay around for very long. Decent amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like bourbon, vanilla, dark chocolate, cream, coffee and caramel. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some dark bread, burnt/charred malt, brown sugar and oaky flavors. It does have a boozy dark chocolate cake flavor to it if that makes sense. Good amount of barrel character in both the aroma and taste. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's a bit creamy and slick with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was good, definitely worth trying if you get the chance to!

From the tall boy can in a snifter. This FANTASTIC brew pours
a rich obsidian with dark brown highlights, and a thick head of
tan foam that subsides to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports
some nice light lacing. Nose of boozy bourbon, barrel, vanilla, cream,
char, dark cocoa, and oak. Flavors hit the WOW factor with cream and
dark cocoa awash in coffee, char, brulee, rich bourbon, dark brown
sugars, oak, and serious dark malt notes. Excellent mouth feel; light
carbonation, warming, smooth, coating, rich, enticing, and finishing
lightly dry with a decadent chocolate finish.
Overall-----the latest WOW brew from a great brewery. Excellent!
Cheers!
Worthy as a Christmas gift!
