Good representation of an Octoberfest beer. Typical appearance, etc. Nothing outstanding or bad about this beer. Does have a slight bitterness at the finish, but the maltiness dominates overall taste.

Very thin and watery with almost zero carbonation and absolutely no head. Glad I tried it but I won't be buying this one again.

This was super watery and completely lacked the typical Marzen flavors you'd expect. You're searching with a flashlight for toasty flavors or caramel malt. This is by far the worst marzen I've had to date. 2nd can was undercarbonated(shocker) and had more of an alcohol taste.
I hate that I have this itch to try new things. Horrible beer, horrible company.

Herbal hops, slight bread, some toffee and a bit of a dry finish maybe I don't see it but it seems like a pretty approachable Oktoberfest marzen. Even has a 6% ABV so it's a bit heavy for the season. Overall I could drink a few!

I bought a 6pck of this beer from my local meijer store. It poured a clear rich amber with thin white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had subtle malt and slight bitter floral hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with brief sweet malt base which quickly turned to a finishing hop bitter. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a decent beer.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This decent little marzen pours a
medium light amber with a decent head of white foam that dissipates to a
thick ring, thin dusty layer, and shows faint lacing. Nose of caramel, light toffee,
faint orchard fruit, and herbal hops. Flavors lightly surpass the nose with
caramel, light peach notes, medium heavy herbal hops, light breaded malt
touches, and subtle toffee. Nice mouth feel; medium body, medium light
carbonation, and a light dry finish.
Overall, a solid little session marzen.
Cheers

12oz CANNED ON 07/27/21 (about 2 months ago) poured into a dimpled mug at fridge temp 6% 20 IBU per label. The beer pours mostly bright copper amber in color with khaki head. The head recedes to a thin ring and single layer of bubbles. The aroma is mild with sweet caramel and possibly a hint of toast or earthy hops. The taste is semisweet caramel and toffee and more more sweet before a moderately bitter, earthy hop finish. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with average carbonation and a somewhat dry finish. Overall, decent beer, poor Märzen. Way too much sticky sweet caramel here, with a heavy handed hop treatment that is likely covering up a rushed fermentation.

Single can from Party Town
Had to try real hard to get some head on this beer, it was gone quite quickly.
Has a clear pale copper color.
Aroma has toasted malts. Taste follows the nose with a good amount of sweetness and a hint of a bitter note in the finish. It's light in body with moderate carbonation.

This one pours a medium orange/amber color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like crusty bread, very light lemony hop character, and a touch of sweetness.
This is pretty solid, but lack a bit of oomph, in my opinion. It's well balanced, even maybe a little bit dry, with lemon peel and grassy hop character, and a lightly crusty hop character.
This is light bodied, clean, and very drinkable.
This was solidly middle/slightly upper tier in a recent tasting, but there were still a lot of better takes on the style.

Pours a deep amber, slight head but not much. Has sort of an off smell, almost artificial. Flavor is lackluster but not bad. Goes down smooth but is a bit on the uncarbonated side, a bit thick.
All in all, probably the worst German style beer I've had. Needs a lot of work but it's meh.

Purchased as a single can from Kroger for $1.67. Poured into a crystal mug.
L - Pours a clear rust with a two-finger yeasty light-tan head. Wonderful retention throughout the session.
S - Wonderbread crust, caramel, and biodegradable styrofoam. A bit odd on the latter note, but it's not a bad one.
T - Starts off with a light caramel, then quickly shifts into an extremely toasted bread and oat note mid-sip. Unlike other beers of the style, this one isn't really on the "sweeter" side of things. Finish is brown bread crust and a punchy burnt wheat. Cereal throughout.
F - Medium-full body with light carbonation. Not exactly easy-to-drink. Satisfying to finish.
O - For a Märzen, this one definitely stands out. It doesn't exactly take after most Märzens of Germanic origin; it's more toast and non-sweet notes than balanced caramel-wheat notes. It's extremely hard to mess up the style, and I think Platform kept the spirit here - but with an unorthodox take. Personally, I'm not a fan and I wouldn't purchase it again, but if you're looking for a great beer for cooking, or consider most Märzens too sweet, this is right up your alley.

Canned on 7/21/21. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a burnt golden with nice clarity and transparency; fluffy off-white head that fades leaving solid retention and lacing. Nice color. The aromas are malt forward. Hints of toast, cocoa and caramel. The aromas aren't bad, they're just very faint although they open up a bit as it warms. The flavors are bolder than the nose. More caramel and cocoa along with some toffee. More hints of vanilla in the mix. More toast along with some breads and grains. Moderate to low bitterness to go with a subtle sweetness. Malts do their thing. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.
This is a solid Oktoberfest. It's a classic and traditional example of the style. I like it.
