Stopped in here 15 Feb 2020 for a quick early evening beer.

Food truck outside was already closing up at 6:30... Painting your dog event going on inside. Maybe 35-40 patrons inside and out. Basic brewery warehouse setup. A couple of TVs with basketball on.

A dozen beers or so on tap. Got the flight of four, DIPA, and three stouts. None were bad but all presented some off flavors/process flaws.

About the only choice if you’re in the area but no reason to go out of your way to get there.

Vibe: A brewery that has a New American feel with a Texas hospitality and eco friendly design that makes it different then most breweries in North Texas. Live music and food trucks during their Saturday Tour Days and a beer garden that is stocked with great eclectic pieces and tables. They may lack beer games and a lot of entertainment but they do have a rad foosball table and may get some washerboards/corn hole. 4

Quality: Simply outstanding. They have a heart that is proud and behind the craft of microbrewing entirely. With a new resurgence of mico breweries they really capture the spirit of quality over quantity. Shannon Carter and his staff hold a high standard for his product. From his water to his freshly bloomed hops they make the best beer they can. 5

Service: When the owner and brewers will pour you a beer with a smile and a willing description it makes you feel like you are apart of something special. So great service and knowledge. Typical set up with beer tokens and flights too. 4.5

Selection: Limited but the quality over quantity aspect of the brewery is nailed. 4

ur brand new brewery is operational. A time-lapse video of the building process can be viewed here. As you can see in the video, the old structure was constructed with metal drill pipe, corrugated tin and wood. We salvaged the weathered corrugated metal, some of the rusted metal pipe and some of the weathered wood. Not only did we save this material from going to the dump, it was reused in the brewery’s beer garden, taproom and hop garden.

Taproom and Beer Garden
Our taproom and beer garden are open every Thursday and Friday 4-8. You can check out our events page for more information. Our taproom and beer garden are available for rental.

Brewery Tours
We conduct tours on Saturdays from 12:00 – 3:00. Our tours are $10 at the door and include a souvenir pint glass with three FREE pints of beer. More information is available on our events page.

Amazing place for a great afternoon drinking location. Extremely enjoyed this brewery and how I felt like family the entire time I was there.

Mr. Shannon (the owner) would come out and announce when tours were going on and even involved all of the patrons in the Grand Opening picture/ribbon cutting. Great way to get people excited about SBC.

As far as the beer goes, my personal favorite was the IPA but the Irish Red wasn't far behind! Definitely a worthwhile trip if you are in the Keller, Texas area.

Small facility with enormous potential. Can't wait till they take over the North Texas region!
